Mobile app usage has skyrocketed in recent years and shows no sign of slowing down.  Just think about the last time you spent more than a day, or even a few hours, without checking any one of the dozens of apps on your phone or tablet.

Whether you are monitoring your favorite social channel and news outlet or crushing candies or clans, your mobile device is more than a significant part of your daily life.

In fact, more than half of US consumers are accessing applications on their mobile devices every single day of the month, reported comScore in their annual report “The US Mobile App Landscape.” Moreover, 7 out of every 8 minutes spent on mobile devices in the US is spent in mobile apps!   This swift rise in app usage has occurred in just about one year’s time.  Clearly, the future of mobile is resting inside these applications.

In fact, the majority of all time US consumers spend on digital media is spent inside applications. Desktop only accounts for 40% of time spent, while in-app is 52%.  In the span of just 15 months, the time spent in mobile apps has surpassed the time spent on desktop.

Mobile app consumption is the norm, not the exception, and advertising dollars must follow suit in order to stay current and keep up with the times.  Here at Tapjoy we partner with marketers to ensure they’re reaching their target audiences where they spend the most time: in apps. And that is why Tapjoy is the world’s largest rewarded in-app advertising platform.

We’d love to partner with you to help you stay ahead of this curve.  Contact Us today to learn more about in-app advertising.
